It was approximately the year 2005 when I first discovered the Hydro Floss. I had a dentist at that time that wanted to perform a SRP a.k.a scaling and root planing. This is also known as a 'deep cleaning'.
The idea is to scrape and pane under the gum line to get rid of built up plaque and tartar.
I did not like the sound of that treatment and decided to see if I could find some other way.
I tried many things, but ultimately, it was the Hydro Floss that made the difference.
When I went back to the dentist after using it for a while, the dentist confirmed that my gums were much healthier and that I no longer needed the SRP treatment she had suggested previously.
